MER DE NUAGES / SOLEIL ROUGE / SOLEIL NOIR - 2014

At the entrance of the exhibition, the silhouette of a Samurai warrior is cut against a red sun of paper, a diameter of 2.20 m, tinted in the mass and illuminated by strips of leds a the inside of the lens.

In another space, a giant sheet of paper of 10 m by 6 m entirely realized on site, is placed on a light table in macrolon.

The undulating and light relief is created by carved waves covered with several thousand strips of washi paper.

The sea of cloud illuminates with gentle light the armours of Samurai who seem to float in this heavenly drape.
